STUDY TOUR TO NORTH MACEDONIA

Aiming to further improve and develop legal aid support to the project’s targeted group, within this mandate the project is organizing study tours to countries from the region.

The team of the representatives of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija and the project visited North Macedonia from 11-14 July 2022. During this study tour, the team met with the Ministry of labor and social politics, Ombudsman, the Department for foreigners of the Ministry of Interior, Red Cross, NGO “Makedonska organizacija mladih advokata”, regional initiative for migrations “Marri” and HELP. These meetings posed a good opportunity for exchanging experience in resolving status and legal issues of those affected by migrations. Further to this, the team visited the Center for transit and acceptance Tabanovce and Asylum center Vizbegovo.
