EIGHT TRAINING OF TRAINEES ORGANIZED

The eight training of trainees working with the Free legal aid project was organized from November 14 to 17, 2017 in Belgrade.

Apart from the topics that have been intensivly discussed about so far, such as International Public Law and its implementation in courts and quasi-judicial institutions in KiM, the trainees underwent the training for the data base developed specifically for the Free legal aid project.

The English language course, focusing on legal terms, was organize for the trainees, Moot court simulation of a litigation and a criminal proceeding, led by the project’s junior and senior legal advisers, contributed to having a better image of court proceedings. Assuming roles of representatives, plaintiffs and judges, the trainees gained a better insight in individual functions and understanding of tasks of each participant in the proceeding.

The training of trainees is a part of activities of the EU funded project „Protection and Promotion of Property Rights of internally displaces people, refugees and returnees upon readmission agreements“ design to train young lawyers to continue working independently on protecting basic human rights in courts and other institutions in Kosovo and Metohija.
