
FREE LEGAL AID TEAM MET WITH IDPs IN ČAČAK
Junior Legal Adviser Nikola Lazić and trainees Biljana Andrejević and Dejan Jović met on November 10, 2017 in Čačak with internallz displaced people from Kosovo and Metohija who need legal assistance.
The team met in the office of a trustee for refugees and migrations in Čačak with seven IDPs with legal problems regarding their property in KiM, as well as the labor disputes. Three people presented the legal problems concerning the usurped property in KiM and on person has an ongoing litigation process for the damaged property. The mobile legal team spoke also spoke with three displaces people with disputes against companies they worked for before the displacement.
All of the clients signed the application for free legal aid and the team collected the documents necessary for case opening.
The EU funded project “Protection and Promotion of Property Right of Internally Displaces People, Refugees and Returnees Upon Readmission Agreements” in collaboration with the Commissariat for Refugees and Migrations implements the mobile team activities in order to increase the availability of free legal aid to the vulnerable people who are not able to travel to one of the project’s offices due to bad health or financial conditions.
