{"id":4601,"date":"2021-06-28T14:06:55","date_gmt":"2021-06-28T13:06:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pravnapomoc.org\/?p=4601\/"},"modified":"2021-06-28T14:06:55","modified_gmt":"2021-06-28T13:06:55","slug":"free-legal-aid-for-return-families-and-idps-in-subotica-and-bajmok","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pravnapomoc.org\/en\/free-legal-aid-for-return-families-and-idps-in-subotica-and-bajmok\/","title":{"rendered":"FREE LEGAL AID FOR RETURN FAMILIES AND IDPS IN SUBOTICA AND BAJMOK"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Mobile team from the free legal aid project\u2019s Belgrade office visited on the 11th of June 2021 returnees upon readmission agreements in Subotica and Bajmok.<\/p>\n<p>The team of a Senior Legal Advisor Vladimir Mojsilovi\u0107, Senior Expert for community outreach Maja Simeonovksa and Junior Readmission Expert An\u0111elka Orovi\u0107 met with two returnees and one internally displaced person who needed a legal assistance regarding the issuing of their personal documents and registering with the birth and citizens\u2019 register.<\/p>\n<p>Upon meetings in Subotice, the team had a total of 8 meeting with potential beneficiaries of the project in Bajmok who mainly sought legal assistance for obtaining an ID and registering in birth and citizens\u2019 register. One legal advice was given to a returnee whose legal issue is not under the project\u2019s mandate.<\/p>\n<p>This field visit is organized in collaboration with the Subotica based civil association \u201cEdukativni centar Roma\u201d, which signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the project in May this year, as well as representatives of the elementary school \u201cVuk Karadzic\u201d in Bajmok. Apart from \u201cEdukativni Centar Roma\u201d, the project so far has signed the MoUs with several associations working with Roma population throughout Serbia with purpose to increase a reach-out among returnees who need legal assistance to exercise their rights and integrate in their environment upon return to Serbia.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mobile team from the free legal aid project\u2019s Belgrade office visited on the 11th of June 2021 returnees upon readmission agreements in Subotica and Bajmok.
