{"id":5343,"date":"2024-04-25T19:11:34","date_gmt":"2024-04-25T18:11:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pravnapomoc.org\/?page_id=5343\/"},"modified":"2024-04-25T19:11:34","modified_gmt":"2024-04-25T18:11:34","slug":"beneficiaries-idps","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/pravnapomoc.org\/en\/beneficiaries-idps\/","title":{"rendered":"Beneficiaries &#8211; IDPs"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The project team works on ensuring the protection of property and human rights of internally displaced persons from Kosovo* in places of residence before the conflict, which are guaranteed to them by domestic and international regulations.<\/p>\n<p>Expert legal assistance for IDPs is most often needed in resolving the following cases:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Illegally occupied property;<\/li>\n<li>Sale of property based on falsified documents;<\/li>\n<li>Property restitution and compensation for material and non-material damages;<\/li>\n<li>Privatisation and liquidation issues of social enterprises.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The project team provides free legal assistance to IDPs who approach the project, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Preparation and submission of legal documentation, i.e., submissions and notices;<\/li>\n<li>Representation before courts and other relevant institutions in Kosovo*;<\/li>\n<li>Provision of legal advice and relevant information;<\/li>\n<li>Obtaining documentation from institutions in places of origin;<\/li>\n<li>Field visits when IDPs are unable to reach project offices.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>*This designation is without prejudice to positions on status, and is in line with UNSC 1244 and the ICJ Opinion on the Kosovo declaration of independence.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The project team works on ensuring the protection of property and human rights of internally displaced persons from Kosovo* in places of residence before the conflict, which are guaranteed to them by domestic and international regulations.
